All of my pistols (except the 2" snubbie) prefer slower powders for my bullet choices. In my semi-auto .308's, My best loads have been with Varget & 4895......and they are on the slower end of the acceptable scale for semi's.

I own 17 rifles and reload for them all. With the exception of my largest, a 7m Rem. Mag. I can get away on IMR4064 and IMR4895. That's not to say they are the only powders I use, but they are the ones I use the most, by quite a bit. For slower powders I'm fairly content with Rel-19 and IMR4831. They may not be the best, but they work well for me. Best wishes.

I reload for 12 different calibers. I load for accuracy and the most often used powder is IMR 4350 followed by IMR 4064.

I reload for 13 different calibers, and with 10 of them I could probably get away on IMR4064 and IMR4895. Needless to say I go through a lot of both powders. Best wishes.
