In the past year I started experimenting a good bit with VihtaVouri powders and am quite happy with them. Accuracy is terrific with every one I've used. So far that's only VV133, 550 and 560. I'm anxious to try the medium powders in the near future. Best wishes.

i have no idea what my favorites are out of this list. rl19 imr4831 h4350 imr4350 h414 h380 i think thats its use em all in difrent applications in the 2506 i use imr4831 to push 100gr bullets and rl19 to push 75s. use the 4350s in the wsm's and 3006 pushn 165s h380 in the 224s 220 and hopefully the 22/250 i got the 414 because someone localy said it would work well in the 220. this powder hasnt ever been used by me. its alittle slower pushn 55gr bullet and i never got away from h380. next loads to try in the 220 will be useing imr4831. cant see how i could have a favorite Evan

Yea i know some powders i do use alot are imr 4064 and imr 3031 One of my buddies uses the 3031 in his swift Evan. I had seen your results from your range with the RL19, that was decent groupings you got i think it was with 58 gr.I am going to pass it on to ole Jimbo, see if he would want to try it out of his rig.You Ruger guys like to stick togather haha

yup we stick together. i couldnt reproduce the 3/8" groups , i loaded more loads of 58grs. i still have no idea where this loads at in the world of reloading. it may be hot or average, ive got not even the slightest idea. you may have the sierra book and no more or possibly the hornady book showing 75vmax;s out of the 2506. if you could find me some info id greatly apreciat it. thanks again for putn me on to them after reloading 35rds of the load i can honestly say that it is consistent. i havent taped or measured a single load since shooting the first tiny group but they all fit in 1" square on my paper. nor will i stick a tape on them again. im still on that acuracy quest. ive been debating floating the barrel or not. man shes shootn so good as facotry box stock rifle and i like saying that it shoots the way it does being box stock other than the trigger. but theres always that but. the but shouldnt matter to me cause if it could shoot tiner itter bitter groups it wouldnt improve anything more than the bragging rights nothing in the feild would be improved not one bit. but it sure is a good feeling shooting little groups. ooooooops theres another BUT. later Evan

Vihtavuori 3N37 for competition .45 ACP and .38 Super from a 5-inch barrel 1911A1 platform. Vihtavuori N110 for standard .25 to .30 calibers. Nice burn and great speed. - Sloppy

mmmmmmmmmmmm winmag did he try the powder. curious how it worked out for him. im alos asumeing we were talking about the 2506. 58grs of anything wont fit in the 220 case.. ive been toying with the 220 some more. ive found that imr4831 works better pushn 55gr bullets and h380 works very well pushn 40gr pills. the 3006 has been seeing h4350 and 165 bullets. the 25 still sees imr4831 and with 100s rl19 for 75s and then some h4350 strung in there to cant remember what i used it for. ohhhhhhhhhhhh i keep seeing stuff on the 3031 and it catches my eye everytime. reloading is never ending. So far I have only used IMR 4064 for reloading my 30-06 ammo with Nosler 150 grain ballistic tips. For pistol ammo (9mm and 380 ACP) I have been using Accurate Unique powder.
I don't like having a lot of powder laying around.

I use a lot of IMR-4831 powder for magnum rifles, along with RL-19 & RL-22.
IMR-4320 toes the mark for my big bores!
IMR-4350 for my 1/4 bores.
RL-19 once again for the 6mm & 243 shooting 100 grn Nosler BT bullets.
