I havent seen any scrapes yet where I usually do, but I think the bucks would wear off their hooves trying to scratch the concrete,,I would have a bunch of hoovless bucks gimping around the ranch,, Hmm this may make them easier to hunt.

Well it is official gang.
My buddy just called me from our lease. He had to go there yesterday to work on our hunting jeep and called me at 8:00 am this morning. He walked out our main camp and asked me if I had any bino's in camp. I told him no..why?
He said there was an AWESOME buck chasing around about 4-5 does..nose down.
They are at LEAST in Pre-Rut gang...EARLY EARLY EARLY!!!

They a getting pretty wound up here in missouri as well. saw 4 bucks comingout into the fields right at dark to scent check does. The bucks are ready to rumble, the ladies seem less interested. Perfect timing for the next week or so! when the girls start giving it up you will see fewer dominant bucks, they will be .......ahem, preoccupied if you will!

mind you i am a bit (just a little ) further Nort. Scrapes popped up like mad this week, not the big regualrly visited ones, but small "i'm on the move and looking like a mad deer, i don't have time to diddle daddle" type of scrapes, one buck i've seen had one side completly broke off, but i haven't seen any chasing yet.
Hunt the doe aresa and the bucks will be nearby - time of year.

Just be really careful not to get TOO aggressive TB.
That is the most common mistake folks make..they rattle too long and too hard. Make a few hard clacks like main beams smashing..then give it a good steady rattle and clack for about 30 to 45 seconds, then put them down.
From my experience...leave them alone for about 30 minutes or so...give a good look around and then hit them again..do this about 3 times. If nothing happens..quit for that day.

GREAT POINT and I cannot BELIEVE I did not mention perhaps the #1 point. 9/10 of ten in my experience they will come in UP WIND of you...so be READY as he said...look UP WIND the most..they will want to get a good smell and look at what they are getting ready to scrap with.
