Anyone got any info on a 7mm's tragectory with a Federal 150 grain ballistic tip bullet shooting from a Browning Bar II with the BOSS system? I've got it zeroed hittin dead nuts center bull at 100 yards. Just wondering what the drop would be at 200 and 300 maybe even 400?

You can improve the ballistics by changing th point of impact and get a lot more out of this gun and load. I will demonstrate.

If you sight the gun in at 0.1 inches high at 30 yards or 3.6 at 100 yrds, you will have a Max Point Blank Zero of 316 yrds and a Max Point Blank Rage of 371 yards . This is all based of of a 8 in target. What MPBR means is that you can hold zero an a 8 in target an hit the vitals out to 371 yards and never adjust for elevation.

Great info bud! Wow! I'm impressed with the ballistic data! I notice a trend... at 300-320yds is where the "sweet spot" for this rifle seems to be. Am I correct in this theory?

With the second set up the sweet spot is 4 inches above and 4 inches below your MPBR zero. If you will notice the second set up. Compare the drop on the first set up with a zero of 100 yrds and the second with a zero 0.1 @ 30 yards (Or 3.6 " high at 100).

remember this is all based off of an 8 in target. Split them in half ( meaning a positive 4 in and a neg. 4 ") Thes is the MPBR (Max Point Blank Range)

I'll get some pics of the actual gun, target, and specs of the rifle asap! And btw... the recoil is almost non-existant on this rifle! It's the sweetest shooting rifle I've EVER shot! I'm just overly amazed with EVERY single aspect that this rifle has to offer and right now I'm just blessed to be hunting with it this year!

Its amazing the difference in changing a few numbers can make. Changing the bullet can make even bigger differences. You just hve to play with it and figure oout the best load. Sierra bullets are on of the best out there. But not in all cases. I am getting the best performance out of a Hornady Sp 100 gr out of my .257 Wthby. and my .308 loves Sierra.

Btw... the bullets I got with this from a friend at the base of them around the primer... one type says "Frontier" the other says "F C".... um... does that make sense to you?
