Hi guys thought I would take a little time to show you the buck my Dad killed the last time we hunted together. I was only 10 years old but remember it like yesterday. He come home around lunch time on the first saturday of rifle season an told me we were goin hunting, ( so you know I got excited ) We got to were he wanted to go an off we went. After about (what to me at the time seemed to be 5 miles later) we set up on an old log that over looked a big holla that was just clearcut. I watched as he put out some buck lure and we settled in for the afternoon, only about 15 minutes went by when I heard something behind us, as I turned my head I saw the biggest buck I had ever layed my eyes on standing only 20 yards behind us , well you all can guess what happened next . thats right he took of runing because our eyes meet at the same time , by now my dad has figured out what was happenning an stood up an was able to pull of the shot!! It was his biggest buck ever and we never got to hunt together again. He died in a car wreck before the next season. I treasure this moment an this mount. thought you might enjoy looking also.

Stories like that really tug at your heart strings. I'm sorry about your dad, but it sure sounds like you got some good memories of him. Hunting trips like that are what hunting is all about to me. That is a beautiful buck and a hunt you will always treasure I'm sure.

THAT'S AN AWSOME BUCK, SECOND ONLY TO THE STORY OF THE HUNT. I BELIEVE YOUR DAD WOULD BE PROUD THAT SO MANY WOULD GET TO ADMIRE HIS TROPHY.
