We got home from work early on opening day last season. I said, why dont you take a walk in the field for a bit, I will finish cleaning kennels.

After showing her how to load my rifle, (hers was in pieces) she said..."I'll be back, I'm going to check the 40" Except for opening day she preaches..."Hunters in the know shoot a doe"

My wife called 30 minutes later asking for help loading this whopper!

Who better to be out done by than your wife! It sure is a heck of a trophy! SHe never got a chance to out do my RIO this year though. Seems as though everytime we got in the truck, her phone rang for an emergency!

Rest assured, the kennels will go uncleaned if we get back early this year!

Major isn't too far off, two counties west of us, we are in Noble. We are over run with turkeys!

He was a non typ obviously.....only 4 1/8 deductions. His biggest set back was the width. He only scored 159 so didnt make B & C.....but got in for the Cy Curtis award in Oklahoma.

The mount should be back soon....cant wait to see it!

Yeah, I guess we are two of the lucky few! We hunt together 5 or 6 days a week, let alone work together....She's not pulling that I'll be back crap this fall, thats for sure!

We couldn't even train the dogs on this one....he only went 10 yards! When I got there she was dragging him while he was still alive!
