;DI took my wife hunting 5 times opening week. On the fifth outing she shot this bad boy.She told me the second trip she would settle for a smaller one and I told her it took me 4 years to get a hunt here and it was gonna be a good one or nothing.She sure was glad she waited. She had never seen a deer of this calibre while out hunting.I frequent this place and knew what we could score.We spotted him and she said I want him at about 150 yards and she stalked to within 75 yards and droped him. She has a bipod but the grass was to tall so she shot him off one knee.This is her first mule deer and third to date it makes my biggun look small. I am proud of her. Afterwards she asked me if I get the shakes.I told her almost everytime. He scored right at 165 and weighed 250LBS.That rush is hard to explain but it keeps me coming back. I told her she needed to try with a bow and she said shakin like a leaf I don't think so.I'll be her (GOG)guide outfitter gutter anytime she wants. YES SHE HAS THE BRAGGIN RIGHTS
