I like the idea of this section.
The 06' season is rapidly approaching here in Ohio. A new fall food plot was just planted in one of my honey holes. I've been doing a bit of scouting and more importantly building landowner relationships.
There is a big boy in the hood that may near 200 typical. Boy would I like to have lightning strike twice. The important things this year however, will be to continue to entrench my oldest daughter in hunting (last year was her first). My middle girl wants to go this year, so that will also be important.
I can't forget that my best times hunting have been with one of my kids by my side.
More to come...

WE NEED RAIN!!!
The food-plot is a dust pile.
More good buck sightings, I'm getting stoked.

Rain is coming tomorrow. I need to be shooting more but my elbow and shoulder are hurting... I'll be ready though.

Sprouts have started. The reason I am so pumped about this food plot is it is really my first of any scale.
It is right in my honey hole and I hope to have it attract and hold more deer.
I now need to turn some attention to that stand location. I believe I need to remove a couple small trees to clear a few lanes.
