how many of you check ammo on concentricity gauge? do you think crooked round can produce tight groups in a hunting rifle? i`m eager to compare your opinion with mine... greeting to all.

I've switched to two types of reloading dies to minimize ruout in my reloads. I like the Redding bushing neck die sets, and I think even better are the Wilson knock out neck sizing bushing dies. I used a lot of different dies before settling on these two. Now I no longer use my roll out device to check for run out of my reloaded cartridges. If you are able to get by with removing the expander assembly so much the better. Best wishes.

I've heard that anything above .005" in runout will have an effect on accuracy, and I believe it. My straight line dies like the Wilson knockout dies will produce concentricity of .001-.002" which I think is quite good. Your OAL will have some effect also. When you start reloading for accuracy so many things go into it. The powder and bullet weights and combiations have a major effect also. Best wishes.
