Have any of you bought dies sets on ebay? I have a few times. Some are good but most seem to have enough wear that is not visible without mic'ing it to make the bullet not seat the same every time. I won't buy dies from there any more. Too many people trying to dump worn out dies and not being honest as to their condition.

I have only bought new dies just because of that reason.A veteran on the press warned me about some of the mistakes he has made and buying used dies was one of them.

I've recently started buying something new, at least to me it is. I buy a Redding neck die and seater set along with a Redding body die. I'm satisfied neck sizing my cases, but sometimes get one that will not bump the shoulder back resulting in some difficult chambering. That's where the body die (bump die) comes in handy. Just one mans opinion. Best wishes.

I have had great reliability and long service life using Dillion Precision dies. Dillion also sells most of the other major die brands. Decent prices back by Mike's No BS warranties keeps customers coming back. I am one of them. I use Dillion dies for .38 Super, .357 SIG, 40 S&W, .45 ACP and .308 Win. 7 years and running with the .38 Super. I'd imagine the rifle dies are just as durable. - :)Sloppy

I prefer to buy my dies new, but that's just me. I think most of them are ok used though. It's usually just a case of a guy selling a rifle and having the dies left over afterwards becayuse the new owner doesn't reload. Still I'm leery tough. Best wishes.
