Yeah buddy, it's amazing how tough they can be & that was a big mulie doe you got there, so I'm guessing she was probably 1/2 again bigger than the average whitetail doe... Tough animals!

I saw a really nice "OD Green" Smith and Wesson .44 Mag scoped out and everything in the Shotgun News. Not sure if they are still making it but it looked K-E-W-L. -SlowOOpY

They are tough! The amount of ground they can cover quickly (while they are already dead) after a lethal shot!

I was useing my new S&W 329 in 44 mag with 240 XTP bullet wyote - Doesn't the S&W Peformance Center make the same pistol in the Model 629 in .44 Magnum? I saw one on gunsamerica.com. $899 with the variable weight underlug system. Can you give me a performance review of your 329? Is it possible to obtain that gun in .500 S&W or .480 Ruger or .454 Casull? I am trying to determine what caliberis "best" for deer handgun hunting. Thank you! - Sloppy

Sloopy Snood I'm not sure if you can get the 329 from the preformance center or not. The 329 to my knowledge is only made in the 44 mag and only comes in a 4 inch barrel. I would love to have one with a 6 to 6 1/2 inch barrel!
The 329 is a "very" light weight gun. It's made from scandium and titaninum it only weighs 26 ounces! It does buck when usuing full power loads, but isn't bad for hunting. It got pretty wicked when I was sighting it in off a bench.

That picture belongs in a frame! It's a classic! Beautiful large doe, and obviously lots of meat in the freezer.... LOL I never could tell if that meat I cook is from a doe or a buck!
I just picked up a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag as my hunting handgun, and hope to be as fortunate one of these days!
