I'm having a problem with sighting in my muzzle loader. We started loading 90grs. of powder and was shooting 240gr. sabot out of the gun.. My only problem was that we ran out of adjustment out of the sight...We were hitting dead on but 5 inches high.. So we tried shooting 80 grs. of powder . The results were only dropping it another inch.. So I decided to go out and buy 300gr. sabots to try.. I'm shooting dead on but 4 inches high.. Does anyone think this will bring it down at least a few more inches... I really wanted to stay around 90 grns of powder.. Any thoughts would be appreciated..

That's the long way home-- lower the rear ramp, or shim up the front blade makes a lot more sense.

80gr with a 300gr sabot is a preferred load in my Knight - I'd definitely say raise the front site - also check to make sure the barrel/action is seated correctly in the stock.
