Hey all,
I received a new ML last year for Christmas from a friend of mine. Someone owed him some money so that's where he got it from. My old Ml was a piece of junk that's why he gave it to me. Well here it is December, ML season in Michigan. I never did shoot it but I drug it out and was doing some research online about loads and bullets when I came across all the CVA related injuries and arguments. My ML is a CVA Bobcat 54 cal. I went to Gander MTN yesterday and purchased some powerbelt bullets and was going to shoot it today and possibly take it out hunting tonight. I decided this morning to do a little more research on this gun and read in a post on this site, from a person injured by these guns, that the recalls were on serial numbers ending in 95 or 96. I immediatley got up from the computer and checked my gun. Lo and behold there was the number 95. I will be taking the bullets back to the store for return. Not sure what I will do with the gun. One question though were there any failures with standard MLs or was it all inlines??

There have been CVA failures with both.
