I took it by today and left it to get a weaver base installed. Yup i am going to put the drill and tapped holes to some use. This is another step on my way to getting it ready to shoot . Need to work up the deer hunting load. I will also buy a 20' 1/4" steel rod to build a target frame. ;D

FYI...don't know if this is important or not, but anyone other than TC drilling holes in a TC barrel voids TC's lifetime warranty service on it.

Hey roundball i do understand, but i got it used at a pawnshop fer $80 and it had already been drilled and tapped! T/C's scope adapters are not what i call user friendly. I ain't never had an adapter that ever worked right. They drill and tap all they're new ones! If i was to send one of other T/C ML back and ask them to drill and tap it for a fee would they? I can still use a peep sight but it won't be to long and i will have use a scope to see. My eyes are going and i know its an age thing or something as i see black dots and lines in my vision. Have been to Dr. but they haven't found out what it is or what is causing it, so they can't help yet!

I picked up my ML from gunsmith's, he didn't put the 1pc. weaver base on it. He put a 2pc. on it go figure, does a gunsmith ever listen to their customer or just up and decide to always do it their way? I shucked out $28 to his happy face!

I took scope off Blk. Dia. and put it on Renegade along with the weaver rings. I have it all adjusted so its just a matter of getting out and start working up a good load! ;D

I took Renegade out to shoot it. Shot 5 times with prb. I was sighting in the scope, they all hit target but i was moving fer windage. So it was a pityful looking group with at least 20 year pyrodex. I shot 3 sabots xtp 300gr.1" group then i shot 5 sabots 250gr. shockwave 1 3/8" group. All of these were at 20 yds. using a limb fer support. Yes the groups are big but the powder is very old and no bench. I will start a record book and use new cans of powder use different sabots bullets and get a bench. ;D
