Father 'o da Gobb - Sloppy has a 209 x 50 TC Encore and really likes it. It started out as a project improvement gun that well....got a little out of control. I have installed a BellM 2X oversize hinge pin, a BellM 44 lb. hammerspring, a BellM locking bolt spring, a BellM #4 sear/spring ( www.bellmtcs.com/store/index.php), sanded the walnut fore end back in order to prevent rubbing on the receiver, replaced the TC ramrod with an XS Sights Power Rod (really cool item), added a Weaver scope base that was converted to a 6-screw design, cut off the Quick Load Accurizer (QLA) and shortened the barrel to 20 inches, installed a 6-port aluminum muzzle brake, performed the Mike BellM trigger job myself for a no creep, clean crisp 2.5 lb trigger pull. Hardly stock TC anymore but I've still got to scope it out (Nikon Monarch Gold 30mm 2.5-10 x 50), install a Kick-Eez recoil pad, and aluminum pillar bed the walnut fore end. It has been disassembled more than it has been together! I'll post a picture in the coming weeks. BTW - 3 shots in a quarter at 100 yards with 110 grains of Triple 7 and the Precision Rifle Duplex Dead Center dual sabot with a 175 grain .357 caliber all lead bullet. -Sloppy

Gob I also have a TC ENCORE I haven't gone to the extreme that sloppy has but I do have a 209 X 50 muzzleloader barrel, a 12ga. 3 inch barrel for Turkey hunting, and my favorite one the 208 heavy barrel for reaching out there for Deer. I love that one gun can do so much.

I shot one in 50 with a 3-9x30 leopold. It was the best ML i've ever shot- I got it to do 3" 3 shot groups at 100yd.s. You could get better because it wasn't to steady.
