I had a twang in my bow every time I shot it. Took a little figuring because I looked for the obvious in the wrong spots. Turns out it was the quiver mount that had worked loose and the clip was twanging. I guess the plastic clip isn't meant to be shot with it on a lot. I switched to the Alpine quiver and mount for 3 arrows.
I also purchased a QAD droop away arrow rest. I will give it a shot tomorrow. If it is a shooter I may hang up the whisker on this bow and keep it on my mathews. I'll post a review on both after I shoot them.

Cant go wrong with the QAD rest.. I love mine... When they are set up correctly they are awesome... I have mine in the upright position for the last 1 inch to 1 1/2 of the draw for the correct clearance .. Works great.. Let me know how u like it....

I'm getting there Gob but the site was down for awhile and this is my first time checking back. The Alpine 3 arrow holder is plenty of quiver and no noise at all... The QAD drop away was a bit of work with crazy glule and what nots to get it just right, but now it is paying off... matter of fact the work I had to do to get it right got me back in the shop doing my own stuff, so it paid off bigger then I thought. The rest came with felt tape to keep the draw back on the arrow nice and quiet. Well the vane would catch it now and again and send a stray arrow flying off into the land of not to be found in 3D shooting. I crazy glued the tape down a few times and it finally seems to be working great. And yes I do like the drop away. I am confident I gained a few FPS of speed because of it and I do believe my arrows are flying better without the full contact. I will however keep the WB on the Mathews as a back up bow.... because the WB rest is also a quality rest for bowhunting. I will trythe drop away on bowhunts but I wanted it primarily for 3D and target shooting.
