For the money PSE is the way to go, they very economicly sound becuase they have been in business for over 35 years. Also whether you take it upon yourself to repair one or you have a dealer near, everything has a lifetime garuntee except string and cables. Ther are plenty of brands out thier but none with such service. For all you mathews fans reading this post, Catching us if you can (Mathews) is hard to do when your following the leader(PSE). haha...J/K.

Mission is new by Mathews... The range I deal with carries Mission as well as Mathews... They would be like Hoyt and Reflex or Bowtech and Diamond.... I have owned two Mathews in my life, a Switchback and an FX... Both bows are fast and quiet... I find the FX was a little faster... I hunted and shot an Elite Archery E-Force this past season... I bought the bow new in the 2006-07 season but with the company problems and lawsuits I didn't want to take a chance shooting it... Now that the problems seem to be worked out I am shooting it and enjoying it very much, as much as my Mathews... The Elite is fast and quiet much like the Mathews...
Now just to touch base on the PSE subject... I was a loyal fan of PSE for many years... Polaris Express mach this Mach that up to a Mach8... But after 2 shoulder injuries I could no longer shoot the 28" draw that I had... I also know PSE has no wall... So in 2003 I ventured out to other bows (Mathews, Hoyt, Elite Archery)... Before hurting myself I loved the Mach bows PSE put out... Fast, pretty quiet for back then too... But no wall... maybe they changed over the last 11 years since I bought one... but to say PSE is economical is not accurate. If you buy their top bow, like a Mathews you will pay the same $800... PSE offers lower quality bows though... I suggest you look at them all, shoot them all and pick the one that fits you best...
Buying a new bow for 500 because it fits your wallet better than the 800 dollar one that fits you better does not make sence. It can be a 20 year investment, make the one that suits you all around, even if it means saving a little longer.
