Not necessarily, you've provided too little information.
I'm assuming with the weight of your arrow that it is aluminum... What about your fletching? What were you experiencing that caused you not to be accurate?
What was the weight and name of your previous broad head? Why do you want to go to a mechanical?
I'm trying to determine what your wanting to accomplish ... and keep everything well balanced.

435 grain carbon with 100 grain spitfire xp pro looking to close the gap at 50-60 yards. always used mechanical heads just trying to be as accurate as possible for I am a spot & stalk hunter and cannot always get to 20-40 yards close. I read somewhere that you want 1 inch of fletching per 100 grains of arrow weight is this true. my accuracy @ 40 yards is that of a 3 inch circle @ 50 yards about 1 foot. I'm shooting a 2007 hoyt vectrix xl @29 inch draw with 70 pound pull. Now i'm using 4 inch quickspins by nap. thanks
435gr = fletch,knock,inserts,and points

The only problem I see might be the expandable broadhead. I understand that you are shooting it for increased accuracy and better flight, thats why I'm shooting them. However, i'm not sure how well they will operate at 50 and 60 yards. It takes a lot of energy out of the arrow to open those blades. You might want to experiment with some fixed blades, they will give you better penetration at 50 and 60 yards. One broadhead that I have experimented with is the Magnus Stinger 85 grain, they fly just like an expandable and have great penetration.
As far as the fletching goes, I'm a big fan of 3 inch feathers. However, like the expandable the feathers will slow your arrow some. You might want to try the new Blazers, they have fairly good reviews and I know several people who are having success with them. Hope some of this helps...

Thanks for the info, will look into fixed blades after bow season ends. I am still using my current setup of 4 inch vanes and mech broad heads. I have also heard that with my bow (HOYT vectrix) I have enough energy to open the mech heads at 60 yards and these heads are awesome at ranges up to 40 yards (my last deer) and hope they perform at 60, but if not magnus stinger will be the way to go. What style of stinger are you using 2 or 4 blade? shoot straight, hunt hard, or stay home.

2 blade, but they also have 2 bleeder blades. I'm sure that Hoyt will do it. The only way you will know is if you take a shot and see how it does out there at 60 Yards. You can get advise from anyone, but the true test is to see how it works first hand. By the way how do you like that Vectrix?

I like the look of those broad heads, kind of old school looking. Maybe the bleeder blades would be a good choice. I think I will go to the butcher and get a roast and shoot it @ 60 yards and see what happens. The Vectrix was one of the 4 bows I tried out, it seemed to have all the features I wanted, plus I swear it almost shoots itself. very user friendly, quiet, powerful although a little heavier than what I am used to but with almost no hand shock or vibration I was sold. The best bow I have ever owned.

Grim Reapers are a good broadhead, Ive taking a bear and a few nice buck with them. They are real dependent and have a solid hit.

My friend was having problems with his expandables, especially with the o-rings constantly breaking. finally he went out and bought the magnus stinger broadheads and absolutely loves them. he says they may even be more accurate than his expandables. as far as blazers go i havent heard anything too great. the local bow shop shot them compared to regular fletchings and saw no difference in accuracy or speed. hope this helps.
