This is how I put on drop aways, I kind of taught myself this, after trying many ways to do it, and using bits and pieces of other peoples Ideas, so this is what I came up with, now I am pretty sure with this way you wont lose any lettoff on your bow as some people say they do for different styles of attaching one. Here it is, any questions you just pm me and I will set you straight. The best and cleanest looking way I have found is to place the cable about 2 inched below the shelf through the down cable, pull it snug then draw your bow. Leave about 1/2 inch sticking out of the down cable then start your serving above where the cord goes through the cable and down over it till there is just enough to burn and continue past and end your serving. Now burn that little bit and there you have it. If you need to adjust you can unserve it and let it slide a bit, then redo or adjust from the other end. Only need to press it once to get the cord throught.

No, I did work for Johns Custom Archery for 5 years while I live in AK, (part time) he was a great guy and one of the Great Hunters (John Sheets) had a ton of Pope And Young Critters, fought cancer for many years and finally lost the battle about 10 years ago, at around 77. I guess I have been in archery for over 20 years and been competing since 1985.
