Hopefully someone can help me. I am sure there is a simple solution, but I can't figure it out. I have a Trophy Ridge Guide Matrix 5 pin (.019) sight. I am shooting a Mathews Switchback 27.5" draw. My problem....... I just moved my peep sight up and need to move my pins up. The vertical adjustment screw is bottomed out and I can't adjust the sight up any further. I also have my pin adjustments as high as they will go. I am thinking my nock point might be off, but I had the archery shop set my nock point and arrow rest and I feel pretty comfortable that they are set correctly. What else might be the problem??? Thanks for any input. Top Pin

My peep was not at the correct location for me to immediately pick up my pins when I drew my bow. It was too low. I would draw my bow back and then have to change my anchor points to be able to look through the peep. Top Pin

Toppin what kind of rest are u shooting? And how high is your nocking point set 1/16,1/8,1/4? Peep should be set so when at full draw there should be no need to move your head to me able to view the sight window through the peep.. Usually around 5.5 inches is correct..Mine is set so when I draw all I need to do is touch my nose against the string and there is a full view of the sight...It also could be the way the rest is st up.. Is it set corresct to the plunger hole? I will be back on later.. Steve
Try this for proper peep adjustment: Nock an arrow, close your eyes, come to a full, comfortable draw, then open your eyes. You should be looking directly through the peepsight without needed to move your head.
Also If you are shooting high you will need to move the peep down a little. Going up with it will only make you shoot higher..

Another suggesstion "if it is the newer [Matrix] model with the micro adjust. look at where the windage bar mounts to the mounting bracket. this bar can be mounted on the top or the bottom of the main bracket"

Backwoods, Thanks for the information. I actually had to buy an adapter plate for my sight yesterday. I think you had previously posted on how to set your peep sight and this is what I did that started this whole situation. This adapter plate allows me to mount my sight higher on the riser. I put it on yesterday afternoon and now I have plenty adjustment available on my sight. I got the bow dialed back in late yesterday afternoon and it is much more comfortable to shoot, since I have the peep sight in the right spot on my string. My pins are now immediately in view through the peep when I draw my bow . One little adjustment makes a world of difference. Thanks again for your help! Top Pin
