Just curious what people have found to work best for minimizing string vibration - either string whiskers or string leeches or is there a better product? Thanks.

Pew222 between the whiskers and the leeches I have found that the leeches had a dramatic difference in vibration.. I also found that using the leeches instead of the whiskers I have gained a few feet per second.. Another alternative is I would give the string suppressors a try.. I just put one on my Allegiance and cannot believe the difference in sound and vibration.. Plus when u put the suppressor on u are able to take the string leeches off and again gain a few more feet per second.. If u are not worried about that few seconds then keep the leeches on.. I have a few contacts if u are interested.. I purchased a Meanv suppressor..Its litter and has a more clean look to it than the STS.. I also can take some pics if u would like.. Let me know if u want his contact..

On second hand, dont worry about the link. Just did a google search for the meanv's and they wont fit on my bow because I dont have a rear stabilizer hole.

I put the STS on both my Mathews bows (Legacy & Ultramax). One of the best purchaser's I have made to remove vibration and noise. They make both front and rear. Look on ebay

The STS is the way to go Vibration and noise will be mostly gone with out slowing your string down

The ones I use are the standard ones that come on the Bowtechs, I usually cut all of them off except the two on the string. I also highly recomend and STS I have done test and they work. Now if you want something really quite I suggest you try out the guardian or commander. I shot them over the weekend and all you hear is the wack of the arrow hitting the target, truly amazing. I mean just amazing. Never seen anything like it.

Im using the string leeches right now. I dont like the CSS front mount how it sticks out to the side. It looks really crapty on a bow. Just my opinion though.

Combine that with 70# and 418 gr. arrows and whoa...my wife can barely hear the bow at all...only 20 feet away on the other side of our deck and she has to really listen for it too!
