duck blind material

i have a 16' john boat, and would like to make it into a floating blind, any suggestions on how to go about this?? i saw pads of reeds to buy in cabelas but i didnt know if that was the best thing to do

I've got a buddy that rigged up a hinged conduit set-up that folds up & down from either end where the sides raise up & leave a gap down the middle to stand up and shoot out of but he used the shadow grass nylon camo material you can buy by the yard off the big rolls at Gander Mt. The material works great because it folds up inside the boat when you hinge the side down. He painted the sides of the boat a flat military green & then painted the grass pattern in on top of that to. It looks & works real good.

we have a permanent conduit bling on our boat, we made the fram from conduit, put some windproof and rainproof canvas or something on it, and are using sheets of the cabelas "northern flight' camo grass on it, with the loose ends on the boat facing up. worked great this year and is still standing.
