2005 Arkansas Trip

Here are a few pics of the Northeastern arkansas trip this year. Almost no water except for the fields that had water pumped into them. Snow geese were by the tens of thousands. We hunted about 600 yards from Claypools reservoir. Ducks were all over in there and just kinda loafed around in there all day. Did get some great shots at trophy pinnies and some of the ordinary species.

The treeline is where claypools starts. Thousands of ducks and geese came out of there all day.

Welcome to Arkansas, we do have some of the best waterfowl hunt, this year,05 been alittle tuff on us, been on a drought, glad ya'lls enjoy yourselves ;D

turkeys- Great pics!!! its amzing out there aint it. I use to try & get out to Stuttgart at least once a year but now that I have a little one and got that ball and chain its hard. Have you ever hunted the white river? Man if you havent you are missing out, some of the best timber hunts in the world!!! Almost like claypools!!!!!! Man I hope I can get out there next year. PS Did you check out Macs? That is the best store in the world for duck hunters!!

No, I didn't go to macks. We went last year when we went down to hunt. This year we had people that wanted to go and others that didn't so we dicided not to go.
