got out duck and goose hunting 2 day with my DAD! only go to go out for bout 2 hours... had a blast though heres wat we came back with..  I breasted out the goose and im getting the mallard i shot mounted! turned out to be a great day even tough i rained. H4E |

Today would be a great duck day, rainy, stiff NW wind, waterfowl should movin, nice shootin,  were those the only birds that came in? regardless teo hours of hunting that's good fun. |

ummmmm  maby............ no no we both missed some i could of shot more ducks but it was early and i didt want to spook the geese on the pond. cuz we hunt in tall grass by a pond and when the ducks and geese fly off from the pond they fly right over us..soo no but it was GREAT it was weired though the goose we got we shot it and i saw its neck go weired but it wouldt fall.......until like 50 yards behind us. WHY? |

cause its hunting and i love it!!! details man, details, i love em.!  I never have been waterfowl hunting, so i live vicariously through your experiences, soon, very soon i will give it a try, not this year, but all the cards are pointing in the right direction, just until i pull myself away from bow hunting,   aggghhh the fall season is way too short!!! |

Nice hunt. Those geese are just tough birds with a strong will to live. I also have seen them get hit lock their wings and sail 100 yards before they crashed.
