Great looking dogs & exciting pictures. I'm more of a bird & waterfowl hunter, when it comes to dogs but I've been on a few coon hunts with dogs in my life and it was exciting stuff. Anything involving dogs & watching them work is geat stuff in my book!! We're really glad to have ya on board & sharing such great posts & pictures. Here's a picture of my hunting buddy:

I love all hunting dogs in general. I wish I had the time to train a few bird dogs and beagles. But for now the coon dogs keep me to busy traveling to all the hunts and shows. I would love to take my friends Golden to the water jumps this yr. I think he could really do well in them. We love to watch them on t.v. He's an ok bird dog but grew up training with my hounds and shakes all the feathers off the birds like he's killing a coon, OPPS!

I'll have to see if I can find my pic's with the Golden fighting the coon. My friend was yelling at me "Don;t let my dog kill tthe coon" I was trying to pull three dogs off of it w/o out getting nailed by the coon myself. The dumb thing ran in the weeds instead of up the tree. LOL It was fun and the coon was just fine!

I found it but you can't really see the golden with all the grass. But here he is with one of my hounds I owned a few yrs ago. He passed away he had an inlarged heart that we didn't know about. But he lived good while he was alive. They were best friends and kennel mates and loves to swim!

Well my friends Golden was a yr old when I got my 1st pups. So we would let him out when I would work the pups on hides. Well the golden took to treeing 1st and helped get the pups going. He was a natural. But I'm not aloud to take him hunting anymore cause every time I do it cost us a trip to the vet. He's always getting hurt. His web feet are always getting something in them!
