Sloppy posed me a how about... He said "Howbout posting some pics of the pooches hangin' out! Well BLAME HIM!!! Rookie the special forces trainee! The old setup! Latest setup. A bottom canine from the male I had to cull for dog aggression, It will be added to our tusk necklace for posterity. Some consider their comfort first! To hell with the others! Looks like deadly had a wee bit much too drink... Vicous Bulldogs capable of stopping any pig in the woods should never be trusted around kids! My son's girl NEVER CHEWS!!! More to come as replies! rookie at 7-8 months. One toy they love! And team work! Looks bad was only a discussion... No bite! Chase "aka" Tater in gangsta clothes! Keep vicous dogs away from puppies! Who planted that evidence under my "Deadly's" chin? Just checking the "most recent posts" on R&S I was asked if my girls were still acting like sisters at about 6 months. And they still do! We found out "rookie" is part Kangaroo! Billy bob "Rookie" Tornton! The only female from rosie's last litter. That'll keep you busy for a bit... Post your pooch pics! Brent

Lemme expound on the kangaroo pic... A parks worker asked me if she just pooped on his park? I said "No she just shows her kangaroo daddy's genetics from time to time." He said "Okay." And went on about his day... Brent

Love the pictures! here is one of our pitbull Butch and our Small Munsterlander Abby. Vicious dogs shouldnt be allowed around other puppy dogs. i wish i could say Butch got along with people though. He has started getting aggressive towards curtain people. ishould have check what blood lines i got before i bought.

personally speaking... It ain't the lines if he "started" getting aggressive. It is, IMHO, 2 points to ponder.... Is his socialization with "strangers" limited? If so he just needs alot of "out" time (muzzle may be needed at first and allow gobs of strangers to socialize with. If he is allowed to feel like the protector of the home he will try to take on more and more "resposibility" until he is taking on more than he should. Encourage visits by friends while you are home so you can "take charge" of security concerns and punish him for "overstepping" his duty. A simple "rap on the nose" or a "knuckle buster" on the top of the head to "put him in his place" . A few of these may put him back to "secondary" security officer. Visit the site I mentioned in questions about dogs thread and ask the folks with personal protection dogs as they only allow the aggression by command only or physical threat only! Brent

I read in the bully breeds magazine that when they hit around 18 months thing start to change. That would be about what Butch is now. There have been a few changes that have happend that are strange.
I have always tried to make sure I was alpha. This I started from day one.
Seeems this aggresion started after abby came. I don not believe that was the major issue though.

You may be surprised how much a big dog will take to defending a little one! I got a couple that will come unglued if the daughters chihuahua yelps and a stranger is in the room! That may not be THE only factor but one of them. As many bully boards are full of puffed up chests I don't go to typical bully boards. Tico's is so diverse and everyone is expected to really behave and most are chomping at the bit to TRULY help others that it is the only one I refer folks to. I felt like a poodle in a kennel full of hungry pitbulls when I first was visiting message boards and found pitbull and bully boards as I thought we were in it for the same end. Search north lapeer canine academy. it is my aunt and uncles agility school site. Hit the contact us and email her, Her name is Sherry and she is the ONLY person I refer to for pschology questions related to dogs! She is "THE DOG WHISPERER" Tell her that Nephew Brent told you to pose the question to her. Giver her some details but be ready to answer additional questions as she won't give much opinion with out knowing the details. Good luck. In the mean time watch his behavior with and with out abby around. He May REALLY be only watching out for his buddy! Brent

Brent do you use the leather vests on your dogs while your hunting?i've seen them in videos and was just wondering if using them was the norm for hogdogs?
