Does anyone here hunt with Saluki or other sighthound?
I am planning to try a pair of Tazys, which is nearly the same as the Saluki breeed. Our conditions here, in Virginia, seems very poor for hunting a sighthound, slopes, rocks, thick forests and briars. There are a few small fields, where rabbits are plentiful and I hope the dogs would be able to catch them there. The Tazy has a retrieving instinct, he will bring what he caught right to your feet.
