While I turkey hunted with Blake the first day of youth season I packed my camera with the 150-500mm lens all day. Sometimes the hunt was downright boring so took shots of different things going on. Took the Buzzard shot thinking of Terry, promised I'd practice my BIF shots. First thing I forgot was to speed up my shutter speed and tracking anything sailing with the 25 mph wind was hard to do, have even more respect for shooting birds in flight. Something more my speed was this large Snapping Turtle that came walking through the woods while we were on one of our Turkey hunting sets. Had to back down to 150 mm and still couldn't get him all in the frame.

Steve, those vultures aren't the easiest thing to get a good pic of. Your pics are definitely better than mine of these guys. I'd keep shooting these guys every opportunity I could. Now the snapper, I imagine you did have a little time to check exposer and speed settings. It looks like a pretty old guy. Wonder where he was going.? Nice job.
