On my way to work everyday the fields are loaded with Canadian Geese and Snow's .. I really never really took notice before ,But the Canadian and the Snow's are not feeding together ,, If they are in the same field they feed in Diff. location and never mixed,, Has anyone ever took notice of this ..

Yes Larry, I find your observations to be quite accurate. I've hunted a lot of geese in the Dakota's through the years. I observed the same scenario with the geese. They may be feeding in the same field, but in their own groups. Never together. Good eye.

Notice the samething again today ,, In my neck of the woods not many Snow's till the weather up in Canada starts getting hit hard , than by that time our season is over ,, The fields have been loaded with both ,, I'll try and get a pic ,,

I've noticed it but never really gave it much thought. Always thought that Canadians would land at the edge of snows very fast, without a flyover, seem to trust the Snow's judgement for safety. The Snows on the other hand may still circle awhile slowly coming down. I've mainly watched them in the spring though on their way back North.

Seeing all the snows stacked up in the Midwest states during their return trip to the North is truly quite the sight. Now that would be a great photo opportunity. Rare to get a snow in this area.

I don't see the Snow's till late winter or right before a Snow Storm moving in the next day or two ,, When I see the fields loaded with Snow Geese you can bet it's going to get nasty out in a few day .. But this year they started to move in early Jan. and we got hit with snow ,, Better than a WEATHERMAN FOR SNOW AND BAD WEATHER ,

Yeah up here if the snows around you rarely see canadas with them.most of the big snow flocks hang north of here.

I will try to shoot some this spring with my Canon. The snows come back by the tens of thousands, many land here and feed along with Canadians in the spring. During the fall the snows fly over extremely high. seldom do any land, they just keep going South.

Now that the fields are covered with heavy snow , I still see Canadian Geese but no Snow geese now ,, Never see the Snows heading back north , just in the winter ,, The only thing I can think of is they use another fly way heading North ,,
