This buck was across the road from my buddy Dave's house. The reason why I say was. This dude bedded 80 yds from my buddy during archery. He watched him for three hours. Then he got up and never seen again.

Wow! That is an awesome buck for sure. So what's the story? Did you shoot this guy, or did he get hit by a truck or what. Certainly a buck I would like to see some day.

Oh I meant to add what happened to the buck. He was taken opening day of rifle by a an out of towner. Actually I think he was from new jersey? He hunted with the group over there. My buddy Dave doesn't have permission to hunt there. But see's all the bucks over there every year. Two years ago we both watched to big dudes fight for 10 minutes. The buck was shot maybe 200 yds from where the photo was taken.

WOW! Dang that would be rough on a guy to watch him for 3 hours and not get a shot. There is a place by my East farm much like this, I can't hunt it and for some reason there is always a hog living there and I can't get them across the darn road. This year a 15 year old killed a monster there, about 250 yards from one of my stands. Well anyway we should feel real good just having those big boys in our area and that is one wide racked deer. Thanks for sharing the pics, caused some drooling here, but I'll be OK.

What's funny Steve is every big buck sighting buddies of mine had was in areas they couldn't hunt except that bedded bruiser. And all that were seen. Were never seen again except the dead one. Nobody shot that swamp buck or that would made the news. We are trying to figure out who owns the small patch of timber west of where he was bedded.
