At 12:15 AM was awakened by my house dog that a truck was going by. I got up and went to the window to watch the guy shine my field and shoot right toward my house. Since I had been relaxed all day and quit hunting for awhile I wasn't prepared and got a late start after them. Called the Warden and a Deputy was sent out. I had already found the deer, a doe and she had been spine shot. It took 2 hours to finish the deer off, load it in his truck and find someone that would take it. It was a pitiful sight to see and I was not impressed with the way the Deputy investigated the scene, they are simply not going to catch anyone with their tactics. I informed him I would just take care of them myself and call him when I catch them. He really didn't seem to care. The Warden and I will be able to work together I think, all I know is it has to stop, I'm not going to tolerate this anymore. It has became a nightly event here and I'm thinking they are doing it just for fun or some kind of thrill. They are going to get one hell of a surprise if they keep coming back .

That's definitely a very sad state of affairs Steve. I hope some days those who done this get caught and punished to the full extent of the law and then some. I found two myself along a road about 100 yards apart from each other. Both shot and left to lay. Yes its really sad to see.
