Well decided to attend my 25 yr class reunion. You might be able to tell. That my woo hooing and doing back flips with excitement. I was talked into going. I mean it will be nice to see people I haven't seen in 25 yrs. But some if I wanted to keep connected I would have. Not trying to be a jerk. Just the way it is.

Know the feeling Scott. You may be surprised though as I was and end up having fun. You can be thankful that it is only your 25th, that right there would make me smile but those days are far behind me. It seems to me that the years have a way of equalizing everything, at 25 years there will be successful folks that are making the big money, at 30 some are retiring but don't know if they have enough, at 35 most are retired or doing very well and at 40 some of us are still struggling, some are rich but we all hurt all over and don't feel worth a damn. When I compare myself with my classmates I don't feel very successful but I enjoy life, still able to work (and have to) live in the country on my small farm where I can deer hunt 4 months out of the year, have a great family including 5 grandchildren so I'm very thankful. Now when I go to a class reunion it is becoming less crowded because many are passing away and of course we all think they were way to young.

You hit the nail on the head Steve. I have already lost several classmates. And quite a few family members. Those are people who can no longer go through the ups and downs of life. I'm thankful to be alive and appreciate the good and bad. To have the choice to do what I do and don't want to do. It ended up actually being a good time. It was funny more people wanted to talk of hunting , fishing and family more than careers. Several of them are on my girlfriends Facebook. She posted my hunting and fishing adventures apparently more often than I knew. So it was funny, more conversations about turkey and deer. I was actually surprised by a few. When I found out they hunted. Lol!

Well good deal, glad you had a good time. I too was surprised at several of my classmates that were hunters, seemed to be more water fowl folks than any other, that totally surprised me. I also like how you mentioned doing what you want to do and "don't want to do". I've been spending quite a bit of time as of late telling myself I'm fortunate to be able to work as I was doing something I detested. Just finished a job that had me at the 36 foot mark from the ground, had to deal with Yellow Jackets and a Bat when reached the top, told myself I'm too old for this, but glad I could still do it.

Sometimes we must push our boundaries to show we are still amongst the living. Lol!!

I went to my 30th. It was OK. Seems like the people that I didn't really like in my class, I still didn't really like.
