This is the quickest and easiest way to add a picture/image to the site (although we highly recommend using the Photobucket and/or other image hosting source method as they will be more reliable and will host your image indefinitely... in other words, your pic/image will always be viewable and by using the "Image Uploader" that we're about to discuss, is not the most reliable source in that they may not indefinitely host your pic/image and therefor cannot be guaranteed that they'll always show on this site).
Here's how to Upload a pic/image directly to the site using our built in "image uploader"
Assuming that you are already creating a thread or post on the site, once you're in the message box that you are typing in and/or would like to place a pic or image in, note at the upper left corner above the message box whereas you will see a "Add Image" button. Click on that:
Then after that, a pop up window will show whereas you will need to find the desired pic/image on your computer that you want to upload.
1) Is the "Browse" button. It will pull up your computures pictures. Click on that first, then locate your picture.
2) Is the screen resolution you're browsing in. Most laptops and computer screens are 15 or 17 inches. Select whichever applies.
3) Is the "Upload" button which will uplod the picture once you have selected it from your computer. The following screenshot will depict how it looks when you need to select the appropriate file to upload:
1a) Shows you that is the file you want to select
1b) Shows the file that you have selected once you've clicked on it above
2) Is the "Open" button.... click on that after you have selected your desired pic/image
Then, once you've selected it, it will be in that pop-up box and just click on the "Upload" button:
It will then be automatically embedded within your post/thread (1a), then from there just click on "Create Thread" (1b) or "Create Post" whichever is appropriate for what you are posting at that time like so:
Easy enough! Remember, this is not the most reliable way to ensure that all pics/images will always be permanently hosted on their servers so we recommend the "Photobucket" or other image hosting services way to embed pics or images on the site. Any questions please feel free to ask/reply within this thread. Thank you and happy posting!
