This old guy got his first cobbler this spring. Guess one is never to old to succeed. It did come with alot of harrassment though. First off, it wasn't a giant, only 20lbs. and a short beard. Second, only camo I had on was my hat. And third, I had the audacity to shoot it with my 20 ga. Guess what ya don't know, doesn't always hurt you. Was terribly exciting to say the least though and can't wait to do it again. Pretty neat to watch one come in to a call from over a hundred yards away. Maybe it was just a dumb Idaho bird.

That's awesome!!! Very nice!! Never too old to take up anything. The turkeys don't care how old you are. Even with no camo head to toe. Maybe he just hasn't been pressured or even seen a person? Big congrats!!

Where Terry lives and hunts now you don't need camo if you don't look like a Grizzly bear, Mountain lion or a Wolf, then you must be safe. Congratulations Terry on taking a fine bird, don't be surprised if you get hooked on hunting them, it is addictive. Another big plus is they are delicious to eat.
