Hey guys. Haven't been on to much lately. Been just really busy with all this moving stuff and renovating my shack. Seems like the months are just flying by. I know I'm making progress, but got so much to do, it doesn't always feel like I'm gaining on it. I have degreed to the wife though, that come hunting season, first of Sept., I am shutting down. I'm more than ready for hunting season, plus hopefully some good fall fishing. Hope you all are doing well.

I sure know what your talking about Terry, I too have bit off way more than I can chew. I bet others can see the changes, we are just too close to the work. So far I've built an in ground Hog BBQ pit with double brick walls and floor, covering a wall in my deer barn with stone and barn boards, put doors on the deer barn finally, siding/painting Keiths house with cement fiber board siding, refinishing 3000 sq feet of deck, remodeled our house in town and work full time with my brothers floor covering business. Some have asked how I do it, well, I drink a terrible amount of coffee.
When Sept comes Kt, you be sure and send us some pics, I know they will be great ones. We are looking forward to making it to your old home town and area in about 3 weeks, going to take a lot of pics, if you were still there would love to have lunch with you again. Just might have to stop at the Cowboy Cafe and we will miss seeing you there.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I do believe being busy is way better than not being busy. Steve, that BBQ hog pit sounds like a pretty cool deal. You will have to send some pics of the process of doing a hog in that pit. Hope your trip to ND goes good. Yes it would certainly have been fun to meet up with you again. Most enjoyable the last time. You might also want to stop in at the Trapper's Kettle in Belfield for lunch and take in all the mounts that Harold has displayed there. Nearly all the animals were taken with a bow by Harold and his boys. Harold may even be there, if he's not out baling hay. Also another nice stop is Fort Abraham Lincoln in Mandan. This is were Custer left from to go to the Little Bighorn. Interesting place, especially Custer's house. That man didn't live in a shack. Also Custer and Wind Cave park in South Dakota are nice places to go through, if you are going that way. The North Unit of Teddy Roosevelt park may not be open yet do to reconstruction of the park road. When you get to Medora, be sure to get out early in the morning to go through the park. The best time to get some pics. Hope the weather isn't to hot for your trip. Will be looking forward to a lot of pics. Have a great trip.

Thanks Terry for the info, will sure try to make those stops you mentioned. You have given me great advice before, we are returning to Medora because we had such a good time thanks to you. Plan to eat steaks this time too before the show starts. Our plan is to go straight to the Medora area than slow down going back home. Custer, Crazy Horse and Wind Cave are on my list. Saw hundreds of Deer last time near Pringle on 385 I believe and some big bull Bison near Wind Cave. I'm wanting to shoot them with my Canon this time so getting out early is a must, honestly not easy for me to do .
If you think of any where else I should look up while in the area I appreciate the heads up. I've been reading some about the road repair, it's going to be close sounds like but may not be open.
