Two years in a row, the farm is not paying off. Thousands of migratories flying high. But none touching down anymore. Turned a couple flocks, they did a fly by. No takers though?? The residents are nice and safe in refuges. Pretty sickening to see hundreds or thousands holed up in these places. And for generations they will keep goin to these places. No pressure, no worries. Lol! But yet they want them thinned out. Keep these refuges closed through both duck seasons, that's fine. But open them to kill geese. Even if its by permit only. Atleast it would force the geese into to going to outside areas and up the odds for hunters off the refuge. Really makes no sense. I mean some areas are holding 10's of thousands everyday. And pretty much new flocks coming in to replace the ones that leave. We have watched flock after flock fly all day overhead. And ya hear em all night. A lot of hunters don't bother or have given up. Saying its a waste of time and gas money. Lol!! The ones who don't or haven't are into birds. I've never seen goosehunting this bad. And with seeing so many?? Anyway here's some safe ones. Believe me they just kept swimming out from the backwater. Maybe this week things will change. Gonna seek out some other areas.
