Got the lay down blind ,decoys,and gun ready to roll. The dog is in shape now,I think anyway.  !! Just waitin for the opener. BOOM! |

I'm waiting to see the pics.  Hope that opener is a good one and your dog gets alot of exercise hauling them birds back. |

I'd have to say the last 6 or 7 yrs ,where we hunt, isn't near what it use to be. The flocks just havent been comin like they were. You could shoot all morning and into early afternoon,back in the day. Now they come in either larger flocks or one massive one. So ya pretty much get quick fast action ,and then game over. This year the flocks I have been watching are small groups so far. And come maybe a half hour apart? But once they get cracked at,beside the occasional loner,they group up. So we will see what happens next week?
