Well, today managed to be quite the perfect morning for Canada Goose hunting! A friend of mine had been scouting these flocks over the past week and set us up for a morning hunt this morning. Let me tell ya... it was fast and furious and a ton of fun! We had 4 flocks total in the short time that we could hunt and we blasted 16 of 'em out of the sky! One of the guys hunting with us had to leave early to go to work so he took 5 of 'em with him, but here's the rest of the damage we did this morning...

Nope, but just a little less than two weeks ago my buddy nabbed TWO bands from one flock in that same exact field we hunted this morning. Here he is doing his gangster pose with his "BLING" from that hunt...

Yeah, I hear ya there Scott! Not many fields have been cut yet around here... they're slowly getting to it though. Makes things a bit more difficult in that you're limited on options for places to hunt. I'm still waiting on our beans to get cut. They're turnin good right now. Mostly all dark yellow... gettin ready to brown out! The local flocks have been hangin just outside of my property on grounds that I can't hunt but they're there... and as soon as them beans get cut... GAME ON!!!

Yep they know where the safe zones are! ;D It's agonizing to drive by several areas around here and see a couple hundred sittin there without a care in the world. ;D ;D ;D
