Anybody had any good experiences with an Elk outfitter in Colorado,Utah,Wyoming area. Whats good price, best time to go, best way to do it. Will be the first time to go willing to do rifle or archery. Any help is appreciated.

I've never used an outfitter to hunt elk. So not much help here. Good luck to you on your quest. Hopefully someone will be able to help you out.

Worth a call to people like Primos and Realtree and Wolfe publications to see who they like. Strikes me as I've seen adverts where Cabelas & Basspro book hunts too. It's a thought at least. Seems to me what I've seen advertised over the years starts at about 7500.00, 10 wouldn't surprise me as being more likely for 10 days on a horseback hunt, and I'm sure there are pricier ones for Utah & New Mex reservation access hunts, where the big boys are. I think that was U.S. Outfitters that had the New Mex Rez hunts locked up?
