I had a block for several years. Then went to a cheapy block the buckmaster, from walmart. Convenience. Today i went and bought the glendel full size. Does anyone have one? And if you do,how much are the replacement inserts for them? I havent had a chance to check on them. And what kinds of targets do you folks use?

I'm using a block target now, like very well for field points and the occasional checkup with broadheads but it could get chewed up pretty quick. I like it because I can throw it in the truck easily and take anywhere for a few practice shots. Have used Eternity targets and liked for field points, not for broadheads. Have a Mckenzie 3d deer that is tore all to peices from buck deer fighting with it in my front yard last year. I liked it for that real feeling of shooting at a deer instead of spots but my local bucks tore him up bad. Have used compressed cardboard a lot, have huge endless supply of cardboard to make tagets from, good only for field points though. Don't know what the replacement for your Glendel will be, not cheap is my guess but those are NICE targets.

I have a Glendel target and love it. I only shoot field points in it. The insert should last a couple years if you stay away from using broadheads. For broadheads I use my large block target. Easy to pull out .
