Super Lazer Pros from Cabelas, 3 balde, .027 thick blades I like a 3 blade, fixed blade broadhead myself. There are many to choose from and many good ones but a proven head that a person believes in and shoots well for you, goes a long way toward success.

IMO the G5 Strykers make the best fixed head on the market. The blades are super sharp and the ferrel is made of steel and not aluminum.
For mechanicals I use the Grim Reaper razor tips. I love their chisel point with the cutter blades on the side for better penetration.
I do not like the Rage bh's. They make a great entry hole but too many times the blades close shut after they enter the deer and have a small exit hole(if they exit at all). I watch alot of hunting shows and the rage seem to have the worst pass thru of any bh's out there. They also have a tendancy to open before they hit the deer.
The exit hole is very important when hunting from an elevated stand. I hunt 20 -24 feet up and I really want a pass thru so there willbe a good blodd trail to follow. Without an exit wound, a deer can bleed into the cavity and leave zero blood on the trail. If they are not running the high entry wound will not bleed much after the shot.

I used both rage and rockets last year, kind of a mixed bag. The two I shot with the rage heads, both pass throughs were pretty good. Had real good blood trails. The reason i went to them, was i couldn't find the rockets around here anywhere, and because of the gaping hole they left. I used rockets for ,well??,for over 10 years anyway. I would like to try some fixed blades maybe next year.
