Scopes arn't legal here on a muzzleloader that is being used to hunt big game. Here, they are still considered a primitive weapon, which I personally really like.

the way it is here terry is your allowed to use a scope on your muzzleloader as long as it has no way to zoom... i myself am no good shooting iron sights cause i never shot them as a youngster i always had a scope... i just feel more confident in my shot when im lookin thru glass... i do want another muzzleloader with a good telescoping scope for regular gun season as my muzzleloader is all i hunt with in rifle and shotgun areas.... but for our primative weapons season you just cant have a telescopic scope

I love my CVA wolf reliable accurate but i have a full scope on mine I shot the buck in my avatar with it
