I DONT KNOW ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSE BUT HAS ANYBODY SEEN A RUT THIS ACTIVE THIS EARLY BEFORE.EVERYONE I,VE TALKED TO HAS SEEN MATURE BUCKS CHASIN DOES.NOW I'VE SEEN A FEW YEARLINGS TRY TO MESS WITH DOE THIS EARLY BUT NOTHING LIKE THIS YEAR.AND THE WEATHER HAS BEEN WARM.

I read somewhere that it goes in 3 year cycles,,and no it wasnt in a romance novel.I believe we are in that three year period. It is looking strange here ,, I dont remember it ever being this early,,maybe we are just more in tune,,I will be able to tell more after this weekend.

ALL I HAVE SEEN SO FAR IS THE SMALLER BUCKS NOSEING THE DOES. BUT THAT AIN'T SAYIN THE BIG ONES AIN'T . I MAY HAVE JUST NOT SEEN ANY BIG ONES. BUT IF THEY ARE COMEING IN THEN NO I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE RUT COME THIS EARLY AND KNOW IT FOR SHURE. I SAY THIS CAUSE THERE HAVE BEEN A COUPLE YEARS THAT I COULD NOT TELL FOR SHURE WHEN THE RUT DID COME IN AND OUT WHILE OTHER YEARS IT WAS PLAIN TO SEE.BUT I HAVE SEEN THE DOES RUNNIN FROM THE YOUNGER BUCKS ALREADY 3 DIFFERENT TIMES.WHEN SOMEONE IS POSSITIVE IT IS ON DOWN SOUTH BE SHURE TO SHOUT IT OUT.

Total agreement wiht the hoosier, it is clearly more intense than I have seen in several years the mature bucks have been visible and active for more than a week here. Theyare acting goofy and the best is yet to come I believe! Allof this despite the warm weather, which normally shuts things down here!
