I am probably going to be getting a ruger M77, either a 270 or 300. What type of scope can I get for around 200 or 300 dollars and still get a quality scope. Also what power for anywhere from 20 yds to 200 yds.

I have a few scopes but I buy scopes for the most light gathering I can get,,hunting hogs at night in open fields with cattle.My leo is probably closest to being the brightest, but it is sensitive to being bounced around on the 4 wheeler. The other good one is something I cant tell you, but its a world class something.Its a greatscope I can drop it bang it and its still always on. I think its a simmons.. Its great at gathering light and never fogs up.. Tim
