I missed archery season last year due to a broken clavical, and the year before due to a broken wrist. Was afraid that I was going to miss this season fora surgery, but luckily I got it canceled until after the 1st of the year IF they do it them. I am pumped for the IN opener Sat. Scouted a new area today and saw 3 big old doe in a 4 ac plot of woods surounded by corn and alfalfa fields. Maybe 1st light Sat. one of them will wander by my stand.

bad news.i read the indiana hunting guide in depth today.i needed to have a disabled application into the DNR by august 1 2005.i did not get a doctors diagnosos until late august.how am i supposed to have an application in by that date when i was still undergoing tests?that is not a fair practice.im going to the DNRs main office tomorrow to plead my case.but i doubt if it will do any good.looks like no bowhunting for me this year.

Just giving you some grief dude, A face to face at the DNR might work. I would think they would appreciate the efforts of a sportsman to respect and follow the rules. If that is not effective, I would keep going up the line til they get sick of listening to you! Be the SQEEEEEAAAKKKKY WHEEEELLL!!!

good news hopefully.i went to the dnr office today and explained the scenario.they said the august 1 deadline is so they dont get a flood of paperwork at the last moment.they said usually but no guarentees that they would process the disability permit.i got the application and dropped it off to the doc to fill out.they will call me when it gets filled out and i will go pick it up then take it back to the dnr to be processed. im just hoping to get the approval before the rut to be happy.im still going huntin this weekend with my digital camcorder and just film my buds hunts.BOL to everyone this weekend
