spysar in Indiana you can hunt with a crossbow in early archery as long as you have a statement from a doctor certifying that you have an injury/handicap and your not able to use a compound/recurve/longbow.

from oct 1st thru the first week of JAN. except for 1 week in early DEC.but thats not for everybody.i have a neck/shoulder/arm injury so i had to get a handicap permit.i can no longer draw my mathews ultramax which i would much rather hunt with

im mostly goin hunt from the ground this year with the xbow.that way i can be real mobile and do more huntin on public land and keep the pressure off the private land.im hopin to get a big ol fat doe down this weekend but i think MRJ is the frontrunner on heaviest doe.he's got some true monsters over in ohio were he hunts.i was feelin really down about not bein able to bowhunt this year because i missed 90% of bowseason last year with an unrelated injury until mommy came thru for me

Yeah like bill Cosby said, You work with your son for years teaching him the finer points of football or what ever sport, injure yourself trying to show him how to tackle properly run him all over hells half acre playing games.
