Was re-doing my den awhile back and needed some curtain rods had a idea with some shed I had laying around. Pretty simple - wood rod and double headed screw (screw one in the rod and the into the antler). Work great.

Tennhunter ,My wife had the same idea 2 years ago when we built our cabin style home here in Mo on our farm.Since the walls are solid wood I attached the antlers to a separate piece of wood and then to the wall.I drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the antler, inserted a 1/4 inch dowel rod than ran a screw in from the back of the wood into the dowel rod,it was easy to screw into the wood without splitting the antler or breaking a screw off.The dowel swells when the screw is fastened into it so no need for glue.I than used 1/2 inch dowell rod in the curtain top and hung it up on the antlers. If I want to wash the curtainsI lift them off, pull the wood rod out & toss in the washer. Yours looked great by the way !
