Here are all my matched shed sets. I had collection about 80 sheds put traded them all in for some work done by a local artist. I kept my sets. The three off to the right side are found here in NH and VT since horse trading my singles collection. I really wish I still had them all

You have some nice sheds there. I have never shed hunted but have found a couple by accident while out. Maybe someday if time allows I will try it. I can see it as a great scouting tool !

The thing about shed hunting in late feb/early march (at least here) is it's a great scouting tool because after the snow receeds and the before the leaves start coming out it's easier to see farther and much of the sign from the earlier year is still around. Good news is if you find sheds in the area of the sign you can be reasonably assured the deer survived the hunting season and you really do stumble onto some hot spots for the following year. You can also get in and tromp around those bedding areas that are off limit IMO during the season with reasonable enough time to calm them back down by fall.
Waiting till then might find your sheds somewhat chewed on though.
