My Not So Portable Tree Stand

This is the Buck Bunker. My cumfy stand.
I'm having problems with the phone,
satallite tv, and coffee maker at the moment tho...LOL.

Hey what can I say...I'm a carpenter by trade. I haul out some boards, nails and a chainsaw....and it just happens.

Sweet crib! Do you have a can crusher to prevent to much trash from builing up during the "hunt"? That thing in the window looks like the aluminum trim in the lower pane of a storm door? brent

Hunters Hilton Lodge and stand.There are nice when it gets nasty out.Much easier to stay longer and with out having to figit around trying to warm up outside in the elements

Hey I cannot say much (I'll get a picture of mine too) I build one this year that is a 6' X 6' (three foot off the ground as it sits on a huge hill side) with sliding glass windows and screens and about a case of caulk to make it insect proof...awesome..

And before anyone laughs too much..last year I DID put a little dearborn heater in mine that I run off a barbecue propane tank...AWESOME..that sucker heats up too good..I have to be careful or I fog up my winders!

But hey..If I'm gonna sit for 10 hours a day in something in mid winter..why freeze the cajones off right?

The guard is where the ladder comes up into the stand...I did the old trip skip stumble step one day heading out...and thought how much I didn't want to go through that glass so I added it.

dogs...no beer while hunting...plenty of time after the hunt to drunk...err...drink beer.

We've got one on the farm where I hunt that's a little more like The Hoosier's except for the ladder going straight up underneath to a locked trap door & we call it the machine gun stand
