My question is when i was 15 the man who showed me every thing he knew bout hunting & fishing passed away this was my father he was a huge outdoors man an got me follow his foot steps i love every thing about hunting an fishing.right after my father died i went fishing for the 1st time with out him an i hooked on to a nice 55 lbs stripe bass this was my 1st fish i cought with out my father an my biggest striper to date.my mother thought it was some sort of sign that he is still with me so we had it mounted that following winter was my 1st year hunting with out him an i was in a 2 man stand wit my dad's best friend an i shot my 1st deer a nice doe but neva got her mounted'stupid me. so what i would really like to do i shoot a nice buck an have the head mounted then i am goin to take the 2 mount hang them up an in the middel of the fish an deer i will blow up a nice picture of my father then under that i will hang his rifel.but do to me father passing my mother being sick wit crons disease it very hard for me to pay for a trip to a ranch to get a shot at a nice buck.the area i hunt in upstate is not so good to see a nice buck at all cuz people dont pass up on spikes or fork horns if any 1 has any help or idea it will be greatly appreciated.thank you for takein the time out to rread this

ok i would start by search for the best buck county in your state. this would be the cheapest way to go.you can call the local game warden and ask him what county is the best. after you find this info search for public hunting areas in that county. then go on a trip to check it out. good luck. maybe this will help you bag that trophy to honor your dad with. congrats. i hope you suceed in the epic chase.

You might want to try looking up some NY hunting guides. Some aren't that expensive and they hunt private land mostly. They don't guaranty a kill tough. I tried that route a couple times with no kills in the books.
